Does anyone remember Bagpuss.
He was a big fat, saggy cloth cat, with pink and white fur.
Well, he has been voted the favourite all time TV animal.
Over a thousand people took part in the survey, in which Bagpuss beat other characters such as Scooby-Doo and Basil Brush
What I find strange is that, like with Mr Ben another of my favourites, Bagpuss only ever had 13 episodes made.
I am showing my age now. I was only 2 years old when Bagpuss was first on TV, way back in 1974.
But quality only improves with age.
