With a heavy heart I have had to bid farewell to my trusty steed.
My Isuzu Bighorn has gone to the garage in the sky. Well, in reality it has not, some monster in a garage will probably perform open bonet surgery and either cut all her internal organs out, or give her a replacement heart.
Either way, she will never be the same car again.
She was being collected today at midday, so looking at the time, she will be on her way .
She was a trusty vehicle, and in the three years we had her, she travelled all over England, France and Belgium clocking up over 50,000 miles. Only broke down once, which was actually a flat battery.
Although she will never be replaced mentally, in real terms I have purchased a Ford Galaxy. Not the biggest or sexiest of cars, but it carries seven people and does 3 times as many miles to the gallon.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.
