The Vulcan, The Lancaster and the Typhoon

The Vulcan, The Lancaster and The Typhoon

Wow, what an image, three great military planes, together for a photocall at RAF Coningsby. Ironically, the Lancaster is the only one flying in Europe, and the Vulcan is the only one flying too. Both planes were stationed at Coningsby during their active service. The planes also met up with the current active plane in service at Coningsby which is the Typhoon.

Take a look at The Vulcan Operating Company website for the full story and see some more pictures of the great lady.  You can also donate money to allow the Vulcan to remain flying.
